Valerie supports Individuals who have a developmental disability. It was when Valerie supported a few individuals at a conference in Richmond in 2006, that she met Allan O’Meara who was running a Laughter Yoga session. Valerie who grew up being called the giggliest girl in school, was naturally drawn to Allan’s Laughter Yoga session.As a survivor of Non Hopkins Lymphoma in 2005, Valerie says Laughter Yoga keeps her grounded, confident and it helps to boost her immune system, what more could she want !!!.
Valerie lives and Laughs in New Westminster or where ever she can. You might even find her laughing in her car while she is driving. She says it really helps with life stressors, recently Valerie encountered more then the usual stresses and strayed away from Laughter Yoga, but is back because she knows it really is the best medicine.
